Prasoon Kumar

Prasoon Kumar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in rural development, agricultural transformation, and production management. Currently serving as Chief Executive and Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at the Aga Khan Foundation since February 2022, Prasoon previously held positions as District Manager for the Government of Madhya Pradesh and as a District Consultant with MSC, contributing to significant projects like Jeevika Special Purpose Vehicle for Agricultural Transformation in collaboration with the World Bank and BMGF. Additional internships with Tata Trusts and Plan International focused on addressing malnutrition and conducting comprehensive village surveys, respectively. Prasoon has a robust technical background, having worked as a Production Engineer at Amtek Auto Ltd. and a Summer Intern at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Rural Management from the Institute of Rural Management Anand and a BTech in Manufacturing Engineering from the National Institute of Advanced Manufacturing Technology Ranchi.
