Katie Harkless, MBA, is an energy strategic leader with over 20 years of experience in the energy industry. Currently serving as the Managing Director for Safety, Operations, and Engineering at the American Gas Association, Katie thrives in fast-paced environments, leveraging expertise in project management and operational efficiency. They previously held roles such as Assistant Director at the Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations within the U.S. Department of Energy and as a Senior Director at Washington Gas. Katie holds both a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland and an MBA from Marymount University.
