Jeff Worthen

Director of Fund Operations at AgAmerica

Jeff Worthen joined AgAmerica Lending in October of 2018 as the Director of Fund Operations. His main responsibilities include managing fund operations, data reconciliation, and investor reporting. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of South Florida.

Jeff brings with him over a decade of experience in fund accounting, investor relations, mortgage lending, and financial reporting. He began his career at Clayton Fixed Income Services (owned by Clayton Holdings) in credit risk management and was responsible for monitoring over $3 billion in subprime and Alt-A residential mortgage-backed securities. He actively worked to reduce loss severities and improve bond security performance by resolving both systemic and non-systemic reporting and servicing issues. During his time with Clayton Holdings, Jeff built out a process improvement piece and implemented a new servicing platform for users.

Prior to AgAmerica, he served as a Controller for Prime Capital Advisors for five years. His other positions within the company included residential distressed debt buyer, loan advisor, and investment manager. During his time at Prime Capital Advisors, Jeff was responsible for all financial reporting, servicer and vendor oversight, investor reporting, fund accounting, finance, treasury, capital markets, and analytics. This position further developed his expertise in the mortgage and real-estate sector.

As the Director of Fund Operations at AgAmerica Lending, Jeff oversees day to day accounting and finance operations. He works closely with the servicing department, developing loans with principal interest and amortization schedules. He also manages investor relations, prioritizing communication and transparency through financial statements and quarterly reporting.
