Mark S. Brooks is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in venture capital and agricultural innovation. Currently serving as Executive in Residence at the North Carolina Biotechnology Center and as a Venture Partner at LongLeaf Studios, Brooks provides guidance to startups in biotech, climate, and sustainable agriculture. Previous roles include Managing Director of FMC Ventures, where Brooks focused on strategic investments in transformative agriculture and food production startups. Additional board positions encompass Micropep Technologies, Traive, AgroSpheres, and SOLASTA Bio, among others, reflecting a robust commitment to advancing agri-food technologies.
