Luis Velez

Luis Velez, PE, MBA, and BBC currently serves as the Executive Vice President of Operations at AGC Biologics, overseeing end-to-end U.S. operations in biologics, cell and gene therapies, and vaccine technologies, including global supply chain and engineering. Prior to this role, Luis held various leadership positions, including Vice President at Teva Pharmaceuticals, where responsibilities included global external manufacturing supply quality and operations as well as operations and supply chain oversight. With extensive experience at Baxter International, Amgen, Mylan, Johnson & Johnson, and Eli Lilly, Luis has managed manufacturing and supply operations across multiple regions and sectors. Academically, Luis holds an MBA in Quality Management and Project Management from The Wharton School and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez.
