Satoshi Sugihara is an experienced manufacturing and development engineer with a strong background in mechanical engineering. Currently serving as Manufacturing Engineer 4 at AGC Electronics America since May 2022, Satoshi specializes in designing tools for the manufacturing of new products. Prior to this role, Satoshi worked at Daifuku Cleanroom Automation America Corporation, first as Development Engineer II and then as Mechanical Engineer, where responsibilities included defining specifications and requirements for Automated Material Handling System equipment in the semiconductor industry. Satoshi began a career at Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. as a Manufacturing Engineer, focusing on the design of manufacturing processes for aerospace engine products. Satoshi holds a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Waseda University.

Hello there! AGC Electronics America (AGCEA) manufactures materials for the Semiconductor industry, namely high-purity silicon carbide ceramics and CMP slurries. AGCEA is a division of AGC Flat Glass North America, Inc. where a number of our original employees remain with us since its founding in 1997.
