Megan Roy

Megan Roy is the Senior Manager of Statewide Events at AGC of California. Megan has over 10 years of experience in performance and learning consulting, leadership development, and employee engagement.

Megan started their career at Cedars-Sinai in 2011 as a Performance and Learning Consultant. In this role, they were responsible for leading the creation of a virtual New Employee Orientation program in one week due to COVID-19. Megan also managed the New Employee Orientation team, co-created a program with 5 classes to improve growth initiatives and enable employees with certificates of completion, created five one-hour modules to target management effectiveness, created eLearning modules using Easy Generator, developed a 2.5-hour training session on conducting performance reviews and ongoing feedback, and created micro-learning on feedback and goal setting. In addition, Megan conducted New Leader Integration sessions with newly appointed leaders and facilitated DISC Catalyst for newly appointed supervisors.

In 2016, Megan was promoted to Employee Development Specialist. In this role, they oversaw employee development for non-clinical contributors and incorporated Franklin Covey's 7 Habits of Highly Effectively People and Five Choices to Extraordinary Productivity to help facilitate organization efficiency. Megan also worked with leaders to develop improvement plans based on their engagement surveys, mitigated regulatory risks by sustaining zero findings within the orientation process per the Joint Commission for the 2014 and 2020 survey, and created a quarterly report of all new hires that showcased discrepancies.

Megan Roy has a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership from Azusa Pacific University. Megan is certified from Virtual Crown Productions and Consulting in Abode Connect, Align & Flow Teacher Training in 200 hour Certified Yoga Teacher, Prosci in Change Management Certification, Kirkpatrick Partners, LLC in Kirkpatrick Certified Professional Bronze Level, Cutlture Works in What Motivates Me Certification, and FRANKLIN COVEY CO in Seven Habits of Highly Effective People.
