Luci Willits

Luci Willits has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Luci started their career in 1999 as a Press Secretary/Communications Director at the US House of Representatives/Congressman Mike Simpson. Luci then worked as a Communications Director at the Idaho State Board of Education from 2004 to 2006. Luci later served as the Chief of Staff at the Idaho State Department of Education from 2007 to 2014. In 2014, they took on the role of Deputy Director at Smarter Balanced at UCLA until 2016 when they joined Curriculum Associates as an Associate Vice President, Policy. From 2020 to 2023, they served as the Senior Vice President, Government Relations at MetaMetrics, Inc. Currently, they are working at Age of Learning as the Vice President, Public Policy.

Luci Willits has a Bachelor's degree in American Studies and Marketing from Idaho State University. Luci also holds an Associate's degree in Communication and Media Studies from BYU-Idaho.
