Lee Matthews has a diverse work experience in the data science and business intelligence fields. From 2017 to the present, they have worked at Ageas UK, where they started as a BI Information Laboratory Manager and later progressed to roles such as Data Science and Analytics Manager, Head of Business Intelligence, and currently, Head of Data Science Operations. Prior to that, Lee worked at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd from 2012 to 2016, holding positions as a Management Information Analyst, Senior Information Management Analyst, and Data Consultant. Lee'searlier experience includes a role as an Income Monitoring Analyst at the University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust from 2011 to 2012.
Lee Matthews obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Strategic Leadership from the University of Portsmouth between 2020 and 2022. Prior to that, Lee earned a BSc in Computing and IT Practice from The Open University from 2018 to 2020. Additionally, Lee holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Computing from Solent University, obtained from 2004 to 2006. Lee completed a BTEC National Diploma in Computing at Richard Taunton Sixth Form College from 2002 to 2004 and obtained GCSE qualifications (9 - A-C Grades) from Weston Park Boys School between 1997 and 2002. Apart from academic achievements, Lee has obtained several certifications, including Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, Academy Accreditation - Databricks Lakehouse Fundamentals, TOGAF 9, Certified Scrum Master, and Academy Accreditation - SQL Analyst Associate.
