David Williamson has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. David began their career as an Occupational Therapist, working for various companies from 1991 to 1996.

David then moved on to work at the Transport Accident Commission, starting as a Rehabilitation Officer and Technical Advisor in 1996. David later held roles as Team Manager for the Spinal and Child & Youth teams, Acting General Manager of the Major Injury Division, and Senior Manager in the Lifetime Support and Provider Relationships & Lifetime Support departments. David also served as Senior Manager for Community Support Claims, where they achieved high client satisfaction and reduced outstanding claims liabilities.

Moving on from the Transport Accident Commission, David became the Senior Manager of Operations for Workers Compensation at CGU Insurance from 2008 to 2011. Here, they focused on delivering excellent customer service and optimizing returns to work for injured workers.

From 2011 to 2014, David served as the Chief Executive Officer of Everyday Independence, overseeing the expansion of the business through acquisition and organic growth.

Currently, David is working at VMCH (Villa Maria Catholic Homes) as the Chief Operating Officer. In this role, they lead all business operations across Residential Aged Care, In Home Aged Care, Community and Disability Services, and Allied Health. David is a key executive in the organization, attending all board meetings and key board sub-committees, and also deputizes for the CEO when required. Prior to this role, they served as the General Manager of Community Aged Care and Disability Services at VMCH.
