Rhett Affleck has over 25 years of work experience in the bioscience and technology industry. Rhett started their career as a Human Genome Project Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Los Alamos National Laboratory in 1992. After that, they worked as a Senior Scientist at Pharmacopeia from 1995 to 1998. Rhett then joined Discovery Partners International as a Director of Advanced Development from 1998 to 2005. From 2005 to 2011, they served as the V.P. of Technology at Nexus Biosystems. In 2011, they joined Brooks Automation as the Senior Director of Applications and Product Management, a role they held until 2014. Currently, they are the VP of Research and Development at Agena Bioscience.
Rhett Affleck's education history includes a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. Prior to that, Rhett obtained a B.A. in Biophysics and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering, both from the University of California, Berkeley as well.
