Shawn Anbiah has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries and roles.

Shawn started their career as a Student Assistant at Caltrans in 2013, where they organized and archived files related to Planning Division initiatives. Shawn then worked as a Parking Meter Deployment Coordinator at the City of Sacramento, leading a team in deploying updated parking meters.

In 2015, Shawn joined the UCSD Perception and Cognition Lab as an Undergraduate Research Assistant. Shawn facilitated EEG experiments, aided in the design of behavioral studies, and managed experimental trials and data collection.

After that, Shawn worked at Drug Delivery Experts as an Associate Scientist. In this role, they provided research and development support for small molecule, peptide, and protein pharmaceutical drug development. Shawn also developed and qualified analytical methods for compound analysis.

Shawn then spent two years at Agilent Technologies as a Field Service Engineer. Shawn provided engineering support for customers, performed maintenance and repair services, and investigated hardware and software failures. Shawn also served as a regional champion, sharing knowledge of Agilent products with their team and customers.

Following this, Shawn joined Omniome as a Field Service Engineer in 2020. There, they provided technical support and services for customers.

Currently, Shawn is working at Agena Bioscience as a Senior Technical Support Specialist. Shawn started in 2021 and is responsible for providing technical support to customers. Shawn was recently promoted to Supervisor of Customer Support.

Shawn Anbiah attended Folsom High School from 2008 to 2012. After completing high school, they went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering at UC San Diego. Shawn successfully obtained their degree in 2016.
