Sarah Marniesse

Sarah Marniesse is an experienced executive in the fields of development, research, and innovation. Currently serving as Directrice exécutive du Campus Groupe AFD and Responsable du Campus AFD at AFD - Agence Française de Développement since July 2018, Marniesse previously held the position of Directrice exécutive Mobilisation de la Recherche et de l'Innovation at the Institut de Recherche pour le Développement from January 2016 to July 2018. Marniesse's governmental experience includes work at the Ministère de l'Europe et des Affaires étrangères from September 2012 to January 2016, where contributions were made within the Cabinet de la Secrétaire d'État au Développement et à la Francophonie and the Direction générale de la mondialisation, du développement et des partenariats. Earlier roles at AFD include working on Urban Development Projects, Public Health Projects, and Research from September 2002 to August 2012. Educational background includes a Doctorat in Economics from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, complemented by a Post Doctorat in Economics from Michigan State University and studies at ENSAE Paris.
