Alexander Pigman is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in reporting and editing within major news organizations. Currently serving as the Senior Tech and Connected World Correspondent for AFP since May 2011, Pigman covers EU economic affairs and breaking news in Belgium. Previously, Pigman worked as the Europe and Africa News Editor at AFP, focusing on economic news during the eurozone debt crisis. Additionally, Pigman has experience as a Journalism Lecturer at Sciences Po, where expertise in fact-checking was imparted to Masters students. Earlier roles include Senior Producer at FRANCE 24 overseeing a multilingual newsroom, along with various positions in production and research across notable media companies such as Nickelodeon and Miramax.
