Aurelien Marteau has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Aurelien started their career as a Technician Intern at Thales Nederland, where they worked on electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) projects. Aurelien then interned at THALES SYSTEMES AEROPORTES SAS, where they gained experience in Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) technology. After that, they worked as an Engineer R&D at IEMN, focusing on microwave and antenna design, including the use of metamaterials for RF circuit size reduction. Aurelien also gained expertise in micro/nano fabrication and RF testing.
Marteau then joined Cofely Ineo as a System Engineer and Technical Project Leader in Satellite Telecommunications. Aurelien was responsible for coordinating and managing multiple satellite communication projects, including RF technical project management and the development of ground stations. Aurelien gained experience in system qualification and antennas and RF measurements.
Currently, Marteau is working at ANFR (Agence Nationale des Fréquences) as a Responsible for System Engineering - Spectrum monitoring. Aurelien'sresponsibilities include managing investments in spectrum monitoring systems, analyzing available industrial solutions, and leading bids for new systems. Aurelien also oversees radio measurements projects and is involved in process improvement and international meetings related to measurement procedures harmonization and lobbying. Aurelien'sprojects cover various areas such as interferences, 3GPP, radio network coverage, broadcasting, radio public exposure, microwave links, and jamming in GNSS and RLAN/Radar.
Aurelien Marteau completed their education at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Ingénieurs de Limoges from 2000 to 2003, where they obtained an Engineer degree in Telecom & Electronics. In 2003, they pursued a Master of Science degree in High frequency Electronics and Microwaves at XLIM (ex IRCOM).
