Leeann Comfort

Leeann Comfort is a Scientist Administrator and Social Science Researcher at the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality since 2021, while also serving as a Lecturer in Healthcare Administration at Suffolk University - Sawyer Business School. Prior to these roles, Leeann Comfort held various positions at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, including Pedagogy Fellow and Postdoctoral Research Fellow, and worked as an Affiliated Researcher at UC Berkeley School of Public Health. Leeann developed expertise as a Researcher at the UC Berkeley Center for Healthcare Organizational & Innovation Research and as an Instructor at the University of California, Berkeley. Earlier experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant at Georgetown University McCourt School of Public Policy and as a Health Insurance Specialist at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Leeann Comfort holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Health Policy, Organizations & Management from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Public Policy (MPP) in Health Policy from Georgetown University.
