Michael Furukawa

Michael Furukawa is currently serving as the Director of the Division of Healthcare Delivery and Systems Research at the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality. Prior to this, Michael held leadership positions at the Office of National Coordinator for Health Information Technology, Arizona State University, University of Pennsylvania, and other institutions. Furukawa holds a Ph.D. in Health Economics from The Wharton School and a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, among other degrees.
