Agenda for Children
Derrick Toups is currently working as the Managing Director of Network Strategy at Agenda for Children. Previously, they have held various roles in education, including Adjunct Faculty at multiple community colleges, Mentor Teacher at Isidore Newman School, and Director of English Language Ministry at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church. Derrick holds a Certificate in Early Education Leadership from Harvard Graduate School of Education, an M.Ed. in Elementary Education from the University of Notre Dame, and a B.A. in English and International Development from Tulane University.

Agenda for Children
Agenda for Children is a nonprofit advocacy and service organization that focuses on the well-being of children, from birth through eighteen years of age. Our mission is to make Louisiana a state in which all children can thrive. Our work currently focuses primarily on the early childhood sector and KIDS COUNT, an effort to inform public conversations about children using local data and analysis.
