Diane Lam

Diane Lam has a diverse work experience in the biotechnology and healthcare industry. Diane started their career at Bayer Healthcare in 1992, where they worked as a Staff Scientist in Process Sciences for over a decade. In 2003, they joined XOMA as a Scientist/Manager in Fermentation Development, and later advanced to roles such as Sr. Manager and Associate Director. At XOMA, they were responsible for managing mammalian Fermentation Development activities, conducting process characterization studies, and successfully completing technology transfers for manufacturing clinical and Process Performance Qualification lots. In 2015, they briefly worked at Annexon Bioscience as the Director of Process Development and Manufacturing. Currently, they are working at Agenus as the Director of Upstream Development since 2016, previously holding the position of Associate Director in the same department.

Diane Lam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. Diane also obtained a Master of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Finance from the University of San Francisco School of Management.
