Ewelina Krysztofinska (Yan)

Ewelina Krysztofinska (Yan) is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in structural biology and protein characterization. Currently serving as Scientist 2 at Agenus since March 2021, Ewelina previously held the position of Scientist 1 within the same company. Prior to that, Ewelina worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Astex Pharmaceuticals (UK) from August 2017 to August 2020, focusing on a structural and biophysical approach to understanding proteins associated with Parkinson's Disease. Ewelina's academic background includes earning a PhD in Structural Biology from King's College London, where research involved studying cytosolic quality control and protein interactions between 2013 and 2017. Earlier experiences include roles as a Research Assistant at Imperial College London and as a Research Technician at The Structural Genomics Consortium (SGC), specializing in protein purification and crystallization techniques.
