Giovanni Faleg

Giovanni Faleg is an experienced advisor currently serving at the Agenzia per la Cybersicurezza Nazionale since September 2023, focusing on international relations and multilateral cooperation. Previously, Giovanni held the role of Senior Analyst and Project Director at the EU Institute for Security Studies from July 2018 to July 2023, leading research on sub-Saharan Africa and managing the "Countering Foreign Interference" project. Prior experiences include serving as a Consultant at The World Bank in the Fragility, Conflict and Violence unit, and as an Associate Researcher at CEPS, where Giovanni contributed to European security and defence research. Giovanni's academic credentials include a PhD in European Studies from the London School of Economics and degrees from prominent institutions such as Johns Hopkins SAIS and Université Robert Schuman.
