Monica Scannapieco

Monica Scannapieco has extensive experience in statistics and cybersecurity, currently serving as the Director at Agenzia per la Cybersicurezza Nazionale since September 2022. Prior to this role, Monica held the position of Head Of Division at the Italian National Institute of Statistics from April 2017 to September 2022 and worked as a Researcher at both the Italian National Statistics Institute and ISTAT from March 2006 to September 2022. Earlier in the career, Monica was a Research Associate at the University of Rome LA Sapienza from June 2004 to March 2006. Monica earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Sapienza Università di Roma, completing the degree between 1994 and 2004.
