Grant Wang, PhD, CFA has extensive work experience in investment management and financial analysis. Grant started their career in 2001 as an Analyst at CIBC and also worked as a Modelling Analyst at Hudson's Bay Company. In 2003, they joined Norkom Technologies as a Senior Consultant. From 2004 to 2012, they worked at CPP Investment Board as a Portfolio Manager. Notably, Grant served as the Co-CIO, Senior Vice President, and Head of Research at AGF Investments starting from 2012. In this role, they led a team of quantitative analysts and portfolio managers, managing various equity strategies and multi-asset investment strategies. Their responsibilities also included developing robust factor research capacities and providing customized investment solutions across different asset classes based on clients' needs.

Grant Wang, PhD, CFA has a Master of Arts (MA) degree in International Economics from Nankai University, which they obtained from 1993 to 1996. Grant then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Economics from Western University, completing their studies from 1996 to 2002. In 2016, they attended the Investment Management Workshop at Harvard Business School.
