Karin Vercauteren

Karin Vercauteren is the Head of the Materials Technology Centre at Agfa Materials, where responsibilities include R&D oversight and leadership of the SHERA department. With experience at Agfa since February 2011, Karin also serves as the Head of Physical and Analytical Laboratories and as the Sourcing and Quality Manager, focusing on global sourcing of raw materials. Prior to joining Agfa, Karin held the position of Category Manager at Agfa Graphics NV from 2006 to February 2011 and was a Business Development Manager at Acros Organics from March 1996 to September 2003. Karin Vercauteren earned a Doctorate in Organic Chemistry from KU Leuven between 1985 and 1994.
