Javier Campelo Piñón

Javier Campelo Piñón has extensive experience in the field of analytics, artificial intelligence, and big data. Javier is currently serving as the Head of Analytics & Artificial Intelligence at aggity, where they lead the analytics and artificial intelligence department to help businesses gain a competitive edge through data-driven solutions. Prior to this role, Javier was a Partner and CEO at Tens.ai, an exponential analytics company that supported businesses in improving their competitiveness through the use of large volumes of structured and unstructured data. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Big Data Expert Manager at Deloitte Digital, where they led projects in strategy, digital marketing, and predictive analytics. Javier also had experience in the banking sector, having served as a Big Data & Business Intelligence Technical Architect and IT Manager at Banco Santander. Javier was responsible for leading initiatives related to business intelligence and big data and played a key role in architecture design and product evaluation. Javier started their career as a Consultant of BI at BBVA, where they worked on the maintenance and evolution of the bank's Data Mart. Additionally, they were involved in database management, script development, and query optimization. Javier has also shared their expertise as a professor at the Universidad Europea Miguel de Cervantes, teaching courses on big data and business analytics.

Javier Campelo Piñón pursued their education from 1999 to 2004 at Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICAI), where they obtained a degree in Ingeniería informática (Computer Engineering). In addition, they have obtained a certification in R Programming from Coursera Course Certificates in March 2016.
