Jamie Wood

Jamie Wood has extensive experience in high voltage (HV) systems, currently serving as an HV Controls & Automation Design Engineer at Aggreko since October 2006. In this role, Jamie designs, builds, codes, and commissions HV SCADA control systems for multi-megawatt generator installations and has developed a BESS controller aimed at enhancing micro-grid efficiency and reducing carbon emissions. Previous positions at Aggreko include HV Project Engineer and Technical Support Engineer, where responsibilities involved HV support and commissioning. Jamie’s earlier career included a role as a Senior Call Centre Operator and Team Leader at Cotton Traders from November 2000 to May 2005. Educational credentials include studies at The University of Salford from 2001 to 2003 and Wellington Sixthform from 1999 to 2001.
