Michael Apreku

Michael Apreku, MMP, is an experienced Maintenance Manager currently leading onsite maintenance activities at Aggreko since November 2020, ensuring equipment availability and performance in accordance with OEM recommendations. Previously, Michael held maintenance management roles at Wärtsilä, where responsibilities included optimizing maintenance work processes and ensuring safe plant operations. Michael's earlier experience includes serving as a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor in Mauritania, focusing on maintaining Wartsila 50 Dual fuel engines, and as an Operation Shift Supervisor at Wartsila Africa for a 50MW Heavy Fuel Power Plant. Michael began a career in engineering as a Manufacturing Assembly Engineer at Wartsila Oy. Michael holds a Bachelor of Mechanical and Production Engineering from Vaasa University of Applied Sciences and an MMP Certification from Northern Lakes College.
