Participation Loan Accountant

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

This position will record, monitor and audit accounting items and system information related to Participation Loan Accounting and the General Ledger. 

Critical competencies include:

• Advanced knowledge of loan accounting systems and software
• Knowledge of accounting principles, practices and methods
• Knowledge of internal financial control practices
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
• Customer service skills

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s or associate degree in business administration, finance, accounting, business management or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.  Successful candidates must be highly motivated with strong communication skills both written and verbal.  Other strong skills required are interpersonal relationship skills, analytical skills and the ability to work individually and as a team player.
