Jamie Burkhardt

Jamie Burkhardt has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. As the VP of Defense Operations at Agile Defense, they led the management of $700 million worth of information technology services and over 500 personnel. They also served as the Operations Director, overseeing a $75 million IT service management contract for the Army Research Laboratory, among other responsibilities. Prior to this, they were the Operations Manager at Agile Defense, managing $125 million worth of IT services and over 90 personnel. Jamie also has experience in the US Navy, serving as the Operations Officer on a Navy helicopter carrier, and as an Executive Assistant to the Vice Chief/Chief of Naval Operations. They have demonstrated expertise in program management, information assurance, cybersecurity, and software development.

Jamie Burkhardt has a Master of Arts degree in Organizational Management from The George Washington University, obtained from 2000 to 2002. In 1992 to 1996, Jamie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry & Biophysics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Additionally, Jamie holds several certifications, including Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance obtained in 2017 and Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute obtained in 2016. In 2015, Jamie obtained multiple ITIL certifications, such as ITIL Service Strategy, ITIL Continual Service Improvement, ITIL Foundation in IT Service Management, and ITIL Service Operations, all from EXIN your ICT competence partner.
