W. Tobin Whamond

W. Tobin Whamond has extensive experience in the financial services industry. W. Tobin began their career in 2009 as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of HCC Insurance Holdings, Inc. In 2012, they co-founded and became a principal investor of InsVest Corp., formed to acquire Southern Vanguard Insurance Company and Republic Home Protectors, LLC from The Republic Group. In 2013, they joined Goldman Sachs as a Managing Director. In 2017, they joined Robertson Stephens as a Director and Long Arc Capital as a Partner. In 2018, they became a Director at Tinubu Square and Renaissance Alliance. In 2020, they became a Director at CircleBlack, Inc. and in 2021 they became a Director at Agile Frameworks, LLC (MetaField).
