Sr. Additive Manufacturing Engineer at Agile Space Industries

Dustin Crouse has a diverse work history, beginning with an internship at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in 2014. There, they worked on silicon and III-V photovoltaics, as well as advanced vehicles and fuels research. In 2013, they were an undergraduate student researcher at the Commonwealth Center for Advanced Manufacturing, studying magnesium alloy welding and a teaching assistant at the University of Virginia Experimental Methods Lab. Dustin also had an internship at High Tech Design and Construction in both 2013 and 2011. In 2015, they completed their Masters Research in Materials Science at the Colorado School of Mines. Since 2017, they have been a Senior Application Development Engineer at 3D Systems Corporation, and they are currently a Sr. Additive Manufacturing Engineer at AGILE Space Industries, a position they have held since 2022.

Dustin Crouse began their education in 2009, earning an Associates Degree in Science from Northwest Missouri State University. In 2011, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) from the University of Virginia, with a double major in Engineering Science - Materials and Mechanical Engineering. In 2015, they earned a Master's of Science in Materials Science from the Colorado School of Mines. In November 2021, they obtained two certifications from ASTM International: AM Process Development to Achieve Optimized Material Properties and AM Qualification and Certification for Critical Applications.
