Ken Fritz has a long and varied career, beginning with their role as a Paramedic for Uwchlan Ambulance Corps in 2016. In 2007, they began working as a Paramedic and Firefighter for the Downingtown Fire Department - Minquas Fire Company #2 EMS, where they were also responsible for handling calls in both a single provider and MICU environment. In addition, they implemented and maintained IT infrastructure for the department, saving the department over $200k. That same year, they also began working as a Paramedic for Skippack EMS.
In 2007, Ken began working as a Software Engineer and Agile Coach for QVC, where they served as the test engineering and execution lead for a major CRM implementation, and implemented Informatica PowerCenter ETL for the organization. In 2010, they began working as an Agile Coach for NAVTEQ.
In 2011, Ken worked as a Technical Writer for Modis, developing technical documentation for a major financial systems implementation, and providing recommendations for code quality improvement and requirements fulfillment analysis. Ken also worked as a Scrum Master and Agile Coach for HomeNet Automotive.
In 2012, Ken began working as an Agile Coach, Trainer, and Technical Coach for SolutionsIQ (Acquired by Accenture). In 2018, they took on the role of Vice President - Solutions Delivery for AgileTrailblazers. In 2021, Ken began working as the Chief Operating Officer for Chester County Aviation.
Ken Fritz has an educational background that includes a Bachelor of Science in Information Science from Drexel University, obtained between 2000 and 2004, and a diploma in Paramedicine from Good Fellowship EMS Training Institute, obtained between 2006 and 2007. Additionally, Ken has obtained certifications from the Scrum Alliance, including Certified Scrum Professional in 2012, Certified Scrum Product Owner in 2011, and Certified Scrum Master in 2007. Ken also holds a Paramedic certification from the Pennsylvania Department of Health, obtained in 2007, as well as a Private Aircraft Pilot certification from the Federal Aviation Administration, obtained in 1999, and a UAS Pilot (Part 107) certification from the Federal Aviation Administration.
