Julie Blake, CHRL, is an experienced HR Specialist with a career spanning over three decades in various human resource roles. Since January 2008, Julie has been with Agilec, where responsibilities include managing HR solutions for over 180 staff across twenty locations in Ontario, focusing on HRMS management, recruitment, employee relations, and compensation, along with benefits and corporate program administration. Prior to Agilec, Julie served as HR Manager at Holburn Biomedical from 2005 to 2008, overseeing comprehensive HR services and health and safety initiatives. Julie's early career included a position as Personal Assistant to the Controller of Administration at the Department of Transport from 1983 to 1993. Currently, Julie is pursuing a degree in Human Resources and Labour Relations at the University of Athabasca, having previously obtained a Human Resources Post-Graduate Certificate from Durham College.
