Taylor April Jones is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in informatics and genomics, currently serving as an Informatics Field Applications Scientist and former Genomics Field Applications Scientist at Agilent Technologies since January 2021. Prior roles include Senior Research Assistant at Oregon Health & Science University and Graduate Teaching Assistant for the Genetics Laboratory at Georgia State University. Taylor's research experience encompasses molecular mechanisms of virulence gene regulation in Bacillus anthracis, antibody cross-neutralization in norovirus strains, and molecular marker technology development for small grain crops. Academic qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Molecular Genetics and Biochemistry from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology with minors in Music and Biotechnology from North Carolina State University.
