Annamaria Steward

Annamaria Steward has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several industries. Annamaria currently holds the position of General Counsel and Chief Operating Officer at Agilian.com, a role they have held since November 2022. Prior to this, they served as the General Counsel at Agilian.com from December 2021 to November 2022.

Before joining Agilian.com, Steward worked as the Executive Director at The National Black Lawyers starting in April 2019. Annamaria also founded their own legal firm, The Legal Steward, in September 2018 and served as Founder until December 2021.

Steward held the position of Director of Leadership and Strategic Development at DC Bar from August 2017 to September 2018. Prior to that, they served as the Associate Dean of Students at the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law (UDC Law) from March 2008 to August 2017.

Their earlier experience includes working as an Attorney at Jack H. Olender & Associates, P.C. from October 2005 to December 2007. Annamaria also served as a Law Clerk for (then) Chief Judge Annice M. Wagner at the District of Columbia Court of Appeals from September 2001 to October 2005.

Steward began their legal career as a Legal Intern at Jack H. Olender & Associates from May 1998 to May 1999.

Annamaria Steward has a Juris Doctor degree from The George Washington University Law School. Annamaria also attended St. Agnes School for Girls, which is now known as St. Stephen's & St. Agnes School.
