Rita Lin, M.S., RAC has over a decade of experience in various roles related to medical devices and healthcare. Rita is currently the Director of Operations at Vigor Medical Systems, where they are responsible for a revolutionary device and digital health platform for diagnosing and managing respiratory diseases. Prior to this, Rita was the Director of Human Factors Engineering at Agilis by Kymanox, where they focused on user-centered design for medical devices. Rita also served as a Faculty Member for Human Factors for Medical Devices at AAMI. Rita has extensive experience working with the FDA, where they held positions such as Team Leader and Reviewer in Human Factors. During their time at the FDA, they oversaw the quality and consistency of reviews, assessed HF/U data in medical device marketing submissions, and promoted HF/U through training and presentations. Before their regulatory work, Rita worked at Stryker as a Staff Engineer and Senior Design Engineer, where they led projects, conducted validation testing, and implemented design changes that resulted in significant cost savings and increased sales. Rita began their career as a Biomedical Engineer at Engineering World Health, where they worked on various global health projects and led a design team. Overall, Rita possesses a diverse range of skills and experience in medical device development, human factors engineering, and operations management.

Rita Lin, M.S., RAC, has a strong education background in the field of biomedical engineering. Rita completed their Bachelor of Science in Engineering (B.S.E.) in Biomedical Engineering and Global Health at Duke University from 2006 to 2010. Rita further pursued their education at Duke University, earning a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Biomedical Engineering from 2010 to 2011. Along with their academic achievements, Rita also obtained additional certifications such as the Competent Communicator certification from Toastmasters International and the Regulatory Affairs Certification (RAC) from the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS).
