Mario Novo

Mario Novo is a highly experienced Doctor of Physical Therapy with significant roles in various organizations. Currently, Mario serves at Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance and Results Physiotherapy since November 2021 and March 2021, respectively. An academic contributor, Mario has been an Adjunct Professor and Guest Lecturer at Belmont University since February 2018 and previously held a similar position at Trevecca Nazarene University from August 2016 to May 2018. Mario's prior leadership experience includes serving as Clinic Director of the Department of Physical Therapy at Ascension Saint Thomas Health and as Owner and Founder of Lifters Clinic. Additionally, Mario co-founded The BFR PROS and functioned as Medical Director at Smart Tools Plus, where Mario provided clinical education. Mario holds a Clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Florida International University and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Physical Education from the same institution, alongside an Associate of Arts in English Literature from Miami Dade College.
