Mathieu Geisert

Mathieu Geisert has extensive work experience in the field of robotics and machine learning. Mathieu is currently a Senior Software Engineer Controls at Agility Robotics, starting in November 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Arrival as a Robotics Software Engineer from October 2021 to October 2022. From July 2018 to September 2021, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher in Robotics and Machine Learning at the Department of Engineering Science, University of Oxford. Before that, they worked at LAAS-CNRS, where they held multiple roles including Postdoctoral Researcher in Motion Generation from May 2018 to July 2018, PhD student in Optimal Control and Machine Learning for Humanoid and Aerial Robots from April 2015 to April 2018, and Research Engineer in Software Development for Robotic Systems from April 2014 to March 2015. Additionally, they had an internship at LAAS-CNRS in Visual Servoing for Walking Humanoid Robots from May 2013 to November 2013.

Mathieu Geisert received a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Aerospace from ISAE-SUPAERO from 2009 to 2013. Mathieu then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Robotics from Institut national des Sciences appliquées de Toulouse, which they completed from 2015 to 2018.
