Azmir Ahmad has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Azmir started their career as an Assistant Cost Controller at Swiss Garden Resort & SPA Kuantan in 2003 and held that position until 2008. Azmir then worked as a Cost Controller at Berjaya Hills Berhad from 2008 to 2010. Following this, they joined Genting Malaysia Berhad as a Cost Controller and stayed with the company until 2016. In 2016, Azmir joined Nando's as a Finance Manager - Costing & Inventory but only worked there for a few months. Currently, they are working at Agilysys as both a Project Manager and a Senior Project Manager.
Azmir Ahmad attended Universiti Teknologi MARA from 1999 to 2002, where they studied Restaurant/Food Services Management. In addition to their degree, they obtained several certifications from Lynda.com, including "Coaching Employees through Difficult Situations," "Communicating with Diplomacy and Tact," "Improving Your Listening Skills," "Learning to be Approachable," "Writing Formal Business Letters and Emails," "Decision-Making Strategies," "Leading Yourself," and "Solving Business Problems." These certifications were obtained in 2017 and 2018.
