Bill Heafey

Bill Heafey is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in cybersecurity and infrastructure management. Currently serving as Sr. Director of IT, Cybersecurity/Third-Party Risk Management at Agios Pharmaceuticals since August 2016, Bill has previously held positions including Director of IT, Head of Cybersecurity and Director of IT, Head of Infrastructure. Prior roles include Director of IT, Head of Data Center Services Architecture at Takeda Pharmaceuticals and Associate Director of IT, Infrastructure Architecture at Millennium Pharmaceuticals. Bill's early career includes managerial and technical roles at HarvardNet/Hosting.com and Toysmart, as well as significant tenure at BBN Technologies/GTE Internetworking. Bill began a career in IT as Sr. Systems Administrator at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Bill holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
