Jaime Morales M.D., Faap

Dr. Jaime Morales, MD, FAAP has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies.

Jaime began their career as an Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at Louisiana State University in 2008. During their time there, they served as the Director of the Hemophilia Treatment Center and the Bleeding Disorders and Thrombosis Program.

In 2016, Dr. Morales joined Biogen as a Medical Director in the Medical Affairs department. Jaime then transitioned to Bioverativ, a Sanofi company, in 2017, holding the position of Executive Director of Medical Affairs.

Continuing their career progression, Dr. Morales became the Head of Global Medical Affairs for Complement Disorders and Hemoglobinopathies at Sanofi Genzyme in 2019.

Most recently, in 2020, they joined Agios Pharmaceuticals as the Head of Medical Strategy, and subsequently, they assumed the role of Vice President of Medical Strategy in 2022.

Jaime Morales, MD, FAAP has completed their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree at Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara. Jaime later pursued a residency in General Pediatrics at Miami Children's Hospital. Following this, they attended The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center for a Fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. However, specific timeframes for each of these educational experiences are not provided.
