Jenny Despotovic DO, MS has a strong background in pediatric hematology and oncology. From 2003 to 2006, they served as a Resident Physician at Schneider Children's Hospital. Jenny then completed a Fellowship in Hematology/Oncology from 2006 to 2009 at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, where they later worked as a Pediatric Hematologist from 2009 to 2011. In 2011, they joined Baylor College of Medicine as an Associate Professor of Pediatrics and also worked as a Pediatric Hematologist at Texas Children's Hospital from 2011 to 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Medical Director and Global Safety Lead at Agios Pharmaceuticals.

Jenny Despotovic, DO, MS has an extensive education history. Jenny pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Biology from Springfield College from 1993 to 1997. Following this, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Science Education from the same institution, completing their studies from 1997 to 1999.

In 1999, Jenny attended the New York Institute of Technology, where they earned their Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree, completing their program in 2003. Jenny then proceeded to undertake a fellowship in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, which lasted from 2006 to 2009.

In addition to their educational background, Jenny Despotovic also holds various certifications. Jenny obtained their Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association in April 2022. Furthermore, they hold a Texas Medical License from the Texas Medical Board, which they obtained in August 2011.
