Bruce Hardy

Bruce Hardy is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in emerging business and innovation. Currently serving as the General Manager of Emerging Business at AGL since November 2019, Bruce leads a diverse team focused on developing solutions for Australia's low carbon future, particularly in promoting electric vehicle adoption and smart energy transitions. As the Chairperson of the AGL Shine Network, Bruce advocates for LGBTQ+ visibility and inclusion within AGL Energy. Previously, Bruce held various roles at Telstra, including Head of Future Business Innovation, and served as Legal Counsel at the Supreme Court of Victoria. Bruce's early career includes a position as a lawyer specializing in Technology and Intellectual Property at Ashurst and as a host and producer with Roadtrip Nation. Bruce holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Melbourne.
