Sagi Katz

VP, Agronomy at Agmatix

Sagi Katz is the current VP of Agronomy at Agmatix. Prior to this, Katz served as the Chief Agronomist at ICL Group from May 2019 to May 2020. Before that, Katz was a Senior Agronomist at Pytech Ltd from February 2018 to May 2019.

Katz began their career as a lecturer in 2009, teaching the 'soil and plant nutrition' course at Ort College in Jerusalem. Sagi then became a lecturer at Ashkelon College for the 'Landscape Architecture' practical engineers course. In 2011, Katz became a teaching assistant for 'Physics for life sciences majors' (71060 and 71059; B.Sc.-1st year) at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Katz has always been passionate about plants and soil, and their work history reflects that. Sagi is currently using their expertise to help Agmatix continue to be a leading provider of digital agriculture solutions.

Sagi Katz has a Ph.D in Soil and Water Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, an M.Sc. in Soil and Water Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and a B.Sc. in Soil and Water Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
