Aanisha Afreen M's work experience begins in 2021 with an in-plant training role at ITC Limited's Foods Division. In 2022, Aanisha joined the Indian Institute of Millets Research as an R&D Intern in plant operations, where they worked on projects related to prototype development, nutritional and functional studies, and standardization of soaking and germination time for various millets. Additionally, Aanisha served as an event organizer for the National Nutri Cereals Convention 4.0 at Nutrihub TBI. Currently, in 2023, Aanisha is working in customer success at AGNEXT, an agri-tech company focused on providing data-driven solutions for the agricultural industry.

Aanisha Afreen M has a diverse education history. Aanisha obtained their Master's degree in Food Technology from the National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management, Haryana, specializing in Food Plant Operations Management-FPOM. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Food Technology from Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, where they studied at the College of Food and Dairy Technology.
