Eric Koiengu

Eric Koiengu, P.Eng, currently serves as Manager of Mine Operations at Agnico Eagle Mines Limited, having previously held the position of Senior Superintendent in the same department. Prior experience includes roles as Superintendent of Mine Engineering at IAMGOLD Corporation, Senior Consultant at SRK Consulting, and Chief Mine Engineer at New Gold Inc. Additionally, Eric has held positions at Conuma Coal Resources, Detour Gold Corporation, Newcrest Mining Ltd, Allied Gold Limited, MVDC - Phu Bia Mining, and Barrick Gold Corporation. Eric's educational background includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining Engineering from PNG University of Technology and a recent course in Economic Evaluation & Investment Decision Methods from Colorado School of Mines.
