Marc-Olivier Vachon has extensive experience in mining engineering and operations management, currently serving as the General Superintendent - Surface at Mines Agnico Eagle Limitée since February 2020. Previous roles include General Superintendent - Mining and Mine Superintendent Open Pit at the same company, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing mining operations, technical services, and managing the start-up of a new Open Pit operation in Meliadine. Prior to that, Vachon held various positions at ArcelorMittal from June 2015 to February 2020, including Chef de service - Génie Minier Mont-Wright and Ingénieur Projets Stratégiques - Mont-Wright, focusing on project management, budget development, and operational supervision. Vachon holds a degree in Mining Engineering from McGill University and a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute.
