Philippe Lapointe

Philippe Lapointe has extensive experience in the mining industry, currently serving as Mine Engineering Assistant-Superintendent, Mining Engineering Superintendent, and Technical Advisor at Mines Agnico Eagle Limitée since March 2021. Prior to this, Philippe held the positions of Superintendent in Permitting and Regulatory Affairs and Mining Engineering Superintendent at the same company from January 2017 to February 2020. Philippe also worked as a Senior Mining Engineer at Glencore Nickel from October 2009 to January 2017 and as a Drilling Engineer for Total in various international locations from October 2003 to November 2008. Additional experience includes working as a Mining Engineer at Breakwater Resources from September 2000 to August 2002. Philippe holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining Engineering from Université Laval, a Master's in Développement et Exploitation des gisements from IFP School, and is currently pursuing an MBA at Universidad de 'San Andrés'.
