Sunviraz Hossain

Sunviraz Hossain is a Graduate Mining Engineer at Agnico Eagle Mines Limited since January 2023, specializing in drill and blast designs, charge plans, delay plans, CRF fill plans, and the design for three production drill rigs at the Fosterville gold mine. Previously, Sunviraz served as a Graduate Engineer at RTL Mining and Earthworks Pty Ltd from February 2022 to January 2023, and as an Asset Officer with the City of Canterbury Bankstown from April 2021 to February 2022. Additional experience includes a position as a Civil Engineering Technician at Macquarie Geotechnical and working as a Cadet Engineer at Buildworx Constructions. Sunviraz holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and a Diploma in Professional Engineering Practice in Civil Engineering from the University of Technology Sydney and a Graduate Diploma of Mining from Federation University Australia, complemented by an international exchange program at Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University in Oil and Gas in Energy.
