Wendy Yu

Wendy Yu is the Vice President, Legal at Agnico Eagle. Wendy was previously the Vice President Legal at Kirkland Lake Gold from June 2021 to February 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Centerra Gold Inc. from August 2009 to June 2021, where they were the Assistant General Counsel and Assistant Corporate Secretary. Wendy started their career as an Associate at Stikeman Elliott LLP from June 2003 to July 2009. Wendy also worked as a Summer Law Student at Chaitons LLP from June 2002 to September 2002.

Wendy Yu completed a NFP Program at the Institute of Corporate Directors, an Osgoode Certificate in Mining Law at York University - Osgoode Hall Law School, and an LLB in Law at York University - Osgoode Hall Law School. Wendy also has a BSc in Science (Psychology and Neuroscience) from McGill University.

Wendy Yu reports to Ammar Al-Joundi, CEO. They work with Michel Julien - VP, Environment & Critical Infrastructures, Eric Kallio - EVP, Exploration Strategy & Growth, and Dominique Girard - EVP & COO Nunavut, Quebec & Europe.
